I first became interested in photography as a kid and processed and printed my own black and white images for many years. I later spent several years selling photography equipment while doing freelance work in my free time. I continued to enjoy photographing people and especially my travels, although my career got in the way of any serious time commitment to the craft.
Starting in 2005 I began taking many photography workshops and classes from local professionals. I found that photographing people in their natural environment, along with the places they inhabit to be among the most interesting subjects I studied, and it also enabled to combine photography with my love of travel.
Today I focus my efforts predominately on travel and landscape photography as well as environmental portraiture.
I currently reside with my family and our rambunctious Golden Retriever and Labrador Retriever near Los Angeles, CA.
